Each person’s profile shows the seat they hold on the ownership chart, who they report to, and how their climbs are going. Managers prepare 1:1s from the same information, in the order the meeting runs.

A seat is a role with its own responsibilities. The ownership chart shows every seat in the company, what each one is responsible for, and who holds it. A seat with nobody in it shows as vacant, and vacant seats are listed again on the Planning page when you plan the next quarter.
Line managers are set separately from seats. Ellie’s seat, Marketing Manager, sits under the Managing Director, and her line manager is Tom. Switch to line managers to see the difference.

Each row shows a person’s teams, who they report to, a ring for each of their climbs, how many milestones they’ve ticked, and their progress. Overdue milestones show in red. Open a row to see the climbs behind the rings.
Filter by team, or by climbs to find people with a climb off track or with no climbs at all. Choose Q4 to see who has already set climbs for next quarter.
My people is a page for managers. It has a section for your own reports, then a section for each manager below you, down to the bottom of your branch.
Each person’s card shows whether they’ve checked in this week, their climbs, the milestones they have due, and their open issues. The figures along the top add up everyone in the branch.
Managers have a 1:1 page for each person who reports to them. It starts with the notes from the last 1:1 and what the person has finished since. Each of their climbs follows as a card, with every milestone listed and dated so you can tick them off together, then their open issues.
Notes go at the end, with any decisions you make. Saving the 1:1 keeps a record of the notes, the decisions, the milestones ticked, and where each climb stood.

A saved 1:1 is visible to the person it’s about and to everyone above them in line management. Maya can read her own 1:1s and Joe’s. She can’t read Ravi’s, because Ravi reports to Priya.
