Targets to 2030

Figures for 2025 and the first half of 2026.

  • Mid-single-digit organic net revenue growth

Net revenue (beia) grew 1.6% in 2025 and 2.7% in the first half of 2026.,

  • Organic operating profit (beia) growing faster than net revenue

Operating profit (beia) grew 4.4% in 2025 and 6.7% in the first half of 2026.,

  • Organic earnings per share growing in line with or faster than operating profit

On track for the top of the range in the first half of 2026.

  • Cash conversion above 90%

  • Net zero scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 2030

  • Water use below 2.6 hl for each hl produced by 2030

Accelerate Growth

Growth is Heineken’s first priority: win in its key markets, grow the beer category, and sharpen how it sells.

Set out in October 2025

  • Concentrate on 17 Focus Growth Markets.
  • Keep building a leading position in 50 markets.
  • Grow the beer category as a whole, and sharpen how Heineken sells.

Since then

  • Total volume rose 1.6% in the first half of 2026, and Heineken® volume rose 5.3%.
  • Heineken ran more than 40 focused pilots with its global R&D centre in the first half of 2026.

Step Up Productivity

Use Heineken’s global scale and a firm focus on cash to free up money for growth.

Set out in October 2025

  • Save an extra €400 million to €500 million a year in gross savings.
  • Expand HEINEKEN Business Services, and change how the Amsterdam head office works.

Since then

  • In February 2026, Heineken said it would cut 5,000 to 6,000 roles over the next two years.
  • About 3,000 full-time roles went in the first half of 2026.
  • Gross savings were on track for the top of the €400 million to €500 million range.

Focus Future-Fit

Finish Heineken’s digital transformation, focus its sustainability work, and build a high-performance culture.

Set out in October 2025

  • Invest more than €1 billion in a Digital Backbone over several years.
  • Reach net zero scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 2030.
  • Use less than 2.6 hectolitres of water for each hectolitre produced by 2030.
  • Build a high-performance culture.

Heineken says which priority comes first.

Growth is the first of the three priorities, and Heineken says so. Ranking the priorities settles in advance which work wins when two pieces of work compete for the same people or money. We recommend saying which pillar comes first if your pillars can pull against each other.

Most financial targets are comparisons, not figures.

Operating profit must grow faster than revenue, and earnings per share at least as fast as operating profit. These can be checked every year without forecasting a figure for 2030. We recommend this form for plans longer than a year or two.

The savings target has a range and a unit.

€400 million to €500 million a year is specific enough to report on at the half year, and Heineken did in August 2026. We recommend giving every cost target a range and a period, so a report can say where in the range the company is.
